   Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) [726]
With a membership base of more than 400,000, or two thirds of all pilots in the United States, AOPA is the largest, most influential aviation association in the world. AOPA has achieved its prominent position through effective advocacy, enlightened leadership, technical competence, and hard work. Providing member services that range from representation at the federal, state, and local levels to legal services, advice, and other assistance, AOPA has built a service organization that far exceeds any other in the aviation community.

The 99s members work together as a group to provide support to other female pilots through each individual member's enthusiasm, interest and imagination.

   Colorado Pilots Association [765]
Colorado Pilots Association (CPA) is has over 700 general aviation (GA) & commercial pilot members and serves the State of Colorado in lobby to the State Legislature. Additionally, CPA sponsors various fly-in events and numerous fly-outs both interstate & internationally.

   Colorado Aviation Archaeology Program (CAHS) [749]
CAHS's new educational program in researching, exploring, and documenting Colorado aircraft crash sites, closed/abandon airports, missile silos, vinetage military airfields, vinetage navigational beacons, and many more.

   North American Institute of Aviation Archaeology [20]
An education organization of avocational aviation archaeology specialists that will assist avocational groups in developing aviation archaeolgoy programs. Currently, NAIAA has be supporting CAHS' AvAr Program since 2008. NAIAA and AvAr hosted the 2010 North American Aviation Archaeology Summit at RMMA in April 2010. Canadian and American av-ar groups formed the first muli-national organization: Aviation Archaeology Historical Association.

   Peterson Air & Space Museum [850]

   Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum [791]
The Pueblo Historical Aircraft Society manages and maintains this fine museum to preserve the rich aviation history in the Pueblo region, including the original Internation B-24 Memorial Museum, the Pueblo Municipal Airport, and the historic Pueblo Army Air Base.    Spirit of Flight Center [832]
The Spirit of Flight Center features Colorado and worldwide aviation and aircraft history, Warbird Recovery, Air Assets International, and is located: 2650 S. Main St., Bldg. A, Erie, CO 80516 (303)460-1156.

   Vinetage Aero Flying Museum [1018]
Formerly LaFayette Flying Museum, Colorado's Internation Aviation Museum located at Platte Valley Airport, 4 miles NW of Hudson, Colorado and 40 miles NE of Denver, Colorado 303-668-8044. Mr. Andy Park, son of the last WWI Lafayette Escadrille member to 'fly west', Dr. James Park, proudly maintains the legacy and history of these great pilots. Newly redesigned website!!

   Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum [882]
Colorado's official Air and Space Museum located at the old Lowry AFB, Denver, CO, 80230. CAHS's Heritage Hall featuring the Hall of Fame is located in Hangar #1.

 

Weather Sources

   Aviation Digital Data Service [764]
The Aviation Digital Data Service (ADDS) makes available to the aviation community text, digital and graphical forecasts, analyses, and observations of aviation-related weather variables. ADDS is a joint effort of NCAR Research Applications Program (RAP), NOAA Forecast Systems Laboratory (FSL), and the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Aviation Weather Center (AWC).
