Warbirds Unlimited Foundation of Mesa, AZ, has had a major set-back on the B-25H rides... the left engine blew on take-off on Sat. July 18th!!! With an experience pilot as Dick Jones, he was able to keep th Mitchell on the runway to a full stop !!! All crew was safe and exited the aircraft witout a scratch. Major damage done with no more details on extend of damage or projected repairs nor date of future flyability.

Field Trip 1A, for the Aviation Archaeology Course 1, a required trip which will consist of a short hike to a aicraft crash site to map the area, to search for parts, to identify aircraft manufacturer from the parts, and to study the basic crash site forensics. The AvAr Certificate will be present after the completion of Field Trip 1A, and the preceeding weekend 2-day AvAr Class.
