||Mission:The CAHS Aviation Archaeology Course is designed to introduce enthusiasts to the proper methods of researching, locating, and surveying aircraft crash sites and other historically significant properties or remains of aeronautical interest, within the state of Colorado.
Also: AvAr Program will focus on the following aspects: preservation of the site, recording the remains of the site, creating a history record of an aviation event or facility through field research and creating a statewide repository for this data and information. This program will widen the participation and membership in the Society with this exciting new program. The history of aviation in Colorado is rapidly disappearing and is not being recorded. This is where new memberships will be able to research, explore, visit, document, and then share the Colorado aviation heritage with its members and the citizens of Colorado.
